Book Review #3 Mockingjay

Author: Suzanne Collins
Report By: Matt Dagenais

Katniss is back, but this time not in the Capital or District 12, Katniss had moved into district 13.  13 thought to be a destroyed district is up, powerful, and fully operational for the most brutal rebelling Katniss has started, there's just 1 small problem, Peeta has been captured by the President Snow.  Snow is seeking revenge on Katniss for the uprising that she has sprouted.  But what powerful mind games will he play with Katniss now?
Mockingjay, book 3 of the most bewildering, breathtaking series, The Hunger Games is by far the best book of the series yet. Even though the astonishing series comes to an end in this book, there is no saying that Suzanne Collins has not written another best seller with this book.  Collins in this book wrote the plot so well and phrases things in such a great way I found myself not being able to put the book down at times, and when Katniss comes along tough decisions you feel as you are in the book yelling at her to do the right thing and helping her make those decisions. Overall I thought it was another amazing part to the Hunger Games series and that the book brought lots more thrilling suspense, romance, drama, and action.

  1. Wow matt, with such a strong cliff hanger and summary it really makes want to just pick up that book and just begin reading it! With your summary, you didn't reveal the whole plot of the story, but you did a little but that just makes me (the reader) ask some questions. Inside your critique you praised the author a lot because she is such a great writer, but are there any mistakes or things she could work on? I suggest using that in your next review's to come. But great job at keep up the great work!
